Planning is underway for these new and exciting groups!
TREE TIME KIDS CLUB
How can climbing trees help a child to write? How can building teepees help a child to sit upright in a chair? How can rolling down a hill help a child move around the classroom? How can nature help a child participate in kinder and school to their best ability?
Welcome to Tree Time Kids Club where a very sneaky and skilled Occupational Therapist hides many developmental benefits in FUN BUSH PLAY! After a hard day of kinder/school free nature play is a fantastic outlet for all that built up energy. At tree time we facilitate free play and semi-structured activities in an environment rich in potential for pre/school skill development.
You may or may not be concerned with your child’s development and kinder/school particiation. That is ok, all abilities are welcome at Tree Time. If you are concerned, Occupational Therapist, Michelle, is available to provide a specific goal directed activity plan.
Tree Time Kids Club will commence in Term 4 (locations and times TBC). In the meantime an informal no cost after school play session is available to current Little Foxes members.
Tree Time is a parents stay and play activity. Siblings are also welcome to stay and play (and maybe get muddy too!). There will be activities suitable for younger and older children. The Fox Guild runs family events and our philosophy is that all members of the family should share in the benefits of Vitamin N (nature).
Bookings will be available on thefoxguild.bigcartel.com
Mud Pies All Abilities Playgroup
Come and get muddy with Mud Pies!
Planning is underway for this great new Fox Guild group.
Mud Pies will be an all abilities playgroup for 0-5year olds with special needs. It will be a smaller group than Little Foxes Nature Playgroup but offer many of the same activities.
Mud Pies will be limited to 8 families to allow for more 1:1 time with Occupational Therapist, Michelle. Michelle will discuss concerns and goals and use nature based activities to help meet these goals.
Michelle will be available to speak with your child’s therapy/educational team through the term.
All Fox Guild events are family friendly, so siblings are welcome to attend and play. All events are parents/carers stay and play too!
If you are interested now in a nature based playgroup facilitated by an Occupational Therapist, please feel free to contact Michelle to discuss joining Little Foxes. Little Foxes is an all ability playgroup.
